This was by far my favorite project of the year. We used Mrs. Haggerty's camera and worked on the stage in the dark. A long exposure is needed. When there's a lot of light the camera will have a short exposure. When there isn't a lot of light it has a long exposure; the lens stays open for longer. Therefore the glowsticks we used could be picked up by the camera and appeared to be drawn out of thin air. Emma, Brenna, and I made a ocean picture. I drew the sun, Emma the palm tree, and Brenna the waves. Emma and I also played catch with a pink and blue glowstick. Then the three of us tried to trace fireworks, but they didn't come out too well. This was such an enjoyable project because even if they didn't look great I could always try it again. I had a lot of trial and error and it was such a cool process.
