PART ONE
- I chose the antonyms "amusing" and "boring". I didn't really have any others I thought of doing, I just chose them because they gave me an idea right away.
- The tips from the article that helped me the most were "Keep Your Lens Clean and Battery Charged", and "Think Before You Shoot". It reminded me that I should clean my case and phone off more often because I'm taking more pictures. The other one reiterated that I still need to take time to plan out shots before I take them.
- I chose a picture of my dogs and another of one of my cats.
- The meaning of my words and pictures is based around "dog people" and "cat people". Some people really hate cats and love dogs and vice versa. This was representing that using the antonyms "boring" and "amusing" to show the way people can feel about dogs and cats.
PART TWO
- I chose a picture of my knee after my second surgery on it.
- I went with the one picture and three words to describe it.
- The thought process I had while planning this was the fact that people have so many ideas and misinterpretations about major knee injuries. Dealing with that is a part of my daily life. Some people think that having two major knee surgeries in the same knee is career-ending. There's a misunderstanding in that people think I'll never play again or I'll never be the same player. I think of it as a setback; I've just happened to have two in a row. But I think of it as a comeback more than anything. When I look back at that picture I see how far I've come. There are many words I could have used in my picture, but I felt those three had the strongest connection to me.
